From News Center (Text by Liu Peiyun, School of General Education; Photo by Pan Feng, School of General Education) From June 27 to 28, the Guangxi Regional Selection (Vocational Education Group) of the 12th "Xuechuang Cup" National College Students Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation Competition, hosted by the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Economics and Management Discipline Group of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center Joint Association, and the Chinese Society for Taoxingzhi Studies, and organized by LZPU, was successfully held and concluded at the Guantang Campus of LZPU. Our participating teams won 2 special prizes in the Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation category, 1 first prize, and 1 second prize in the Digital Marketing Simulation category.

Competition in this Selection (Vocational Education Group) was exceedingly intense, with a total of 177 teams from 30 higher vocational colleges and 2 secondary vocational colleges across the region participating. The competition comprised three categories: Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation, Digital Marketing Simulation, and Financial Decision-Making Simulation. Participants were required to complete four rounds of virtual quarterly business decisions within the specified time frame.

The representative team of LZPU is collaboratively guided by the School of General Education and the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, consisting of students from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Automotive Engineering, the School of Electronic Information Engineering, the School of Finance and Logistics Management, and the School of Trade and Tourism Management. In the Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation competition, a team consisting of Chen Yuquan (Modern Communication Technology Class 2, 2023), Li Mingqiu (New Energy Vehicle Technology Class 3, 2024), and Yang Heng (Electromechanical Equipment Technology Class 1, 2024), guided by instructors Pan Feng and Yue Dehu, along with a team consisting of Chen Minghui (Modern Communication Technology Class 1, 2023), Xue Bingfang (Big Data and Financial Management Class 4, 2023), and Meng Hongling (Electronic Information Engineering Technology, 2024), guided by instructors Xu Ming and Zhang Guosheng, showcased composure and outstanding performance during the competition, achieving the special prize. In the Digital Marketing Simulation competition, a team consisting of Tao Yonglong (Software Technology Class 2, 2023), Zhang Xilu (Big Data and Accounting Class 5, 2023), and Fu Lanxin (Big Data and Accounting Class 6, 2023) achieved the first prize under the guidance of instructors Shao Dan and Liu Peiyun. Another team, comprising Xu Jiahui (Big Data and Accounting Class 6, 2024), Qin Qishi (Computer Network Technology Class 2, 2024), and Tang Jiancheng (Electrical Automation Technology Class 4, 2024) under the guidance of instructors Liu Jing and Cui Aihua, received the second prize. Pan Feng, Xu Ming, Yue Dehu, and Zhang Guosheng were honored with the title of Best Instructor, while Liu Jing, Liu Peiyun, Shao Dan, and Cui Aihua received the title of Excellent Instructor.

As the organizer of this competition, LZPU provided comprehensive support and ensured the smooth execution of the event. LZPU meticulously organized and arranged every element from venue layout and equipment adjustment to logistical support, emphasizing thorough and exceptional service, ensuring the competition's fairness, impartiality, and transparency, receiving unanimous praise from the faculty and students of the participating institutions.

Innovation and entrepreneurship competitions are vital for advancing employment and entrepreneurship education in higher education institutions and fostering innovative talent development. Recognized as a significant event in the "National College Student Competition Ranking" by the China Association of Higher Education, the "Xuechuang Cup" competition facilitates the robust development of employment and entrepreneurship education and motivates higher education institutions to establish entrepreneurial simulation and practice education systems. With the successful conclusion of this competition, the winning teams will represent Guangxi in the national finals, continuing to showcase the excellence and talent of Guangxi's vocational college students on a larger platform. We eagerly anticipate their outstanding performance in the national competition, further enhancing the prestige of vocational education in Guangxi.
