(hereafter referred to as "Guangxi Automobile Group") conducted a signing ceremony for collaborative Party building and a high-level school-enterprise dialogue at the Liuzhou Industrial Museum on June 30 in the afternoon. With high-quality Party building as the guiding framework, the two parties will strengthen collaboration in pivotal areas such as talent cultivation, technological innovation, and industrial transformation, jointly support the high-quality development of Liuzhou's industry, advance Guangxi's automotive sector to new heights, and contribute fresh momentum to the socioeconomic progress of the region.

The event was attended by Liu Zilin, Secretary of the CPC Committee, Gan Jinming, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President, Li Shanwen, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Qu Fan, Ran Fusong, Chen Zhengzhen, and Qiu Fuming, members of the Standing Committee and Vice Presidents, and Zhong Hong, university leader of LZPU; Yuan Zhijun, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman, and Chen Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of Guangxi Automobile Group. Wei Mingfeng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Guangxi Automobile Group, chaired the event.

During the event, both parties held their inaugural Joint Study of the Party Committee Theoretical Study Central Group, during which they studied General Secretary Xi Jinping's significant discussions on vigorously promoting the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship. They visited the Guangxi Automobile Group's photography exhibition and reviewed the history of Guangxi Automobile Group. As a pivotal participant and witness of China's automotive industry, it originated from Liuzhou Machinery Factory amidst the flames of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Through the enduring spirit of "hard work and self-reliance," generations of Wuling employees have inscribed an extraordinary chapter of development on the scroll of industrial power, growing into a large state-owned enterprise in Guangxi with a global presence in the new era.

Representatives from both LZPU and Guangxi Automobile Group jointly signed a school-enterprise collaborative Party building agreement and a school-enterprise strategic cooperation agreement. They will focus on promoting the following key initiatives: organizing and conducting joint study activities for the Party Committee Theoretical Study Central Group, establishing a school-enterprise Party member joint lecture team that integrates "theoretical dissemination, practical inheritance, and youth empowerment," creating a collaborative school-enterprise Party school development mechanism, advancing joint establishment of scientific research teams and laboratories, promoting school-enterprise joint construction of tangible work bases, strengthening talent training and exchange collaborations, enhancing research and development and technical service partnerships, developing an industry-education integration platform, and fostering international business collaborations, among other areas. The respective leaders of both LZPU and Guangxi Automobile Group convened the inaugural high-level dialogue to collaboratively explore new directions for future partnerships.

The school-enterprise cooperation between LZPU and Guangxi Automobile Group began in the 1980s and 1990s. Spanning three phases—staff provision, joint training, and industry-education integration—it has a nearly 40-year history and has produced significant results. LZPU and Guangxi Automobile Group collaborated to establish the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Industry, which was recognized as a demonstration industry academy within the autonomous region. Additionally, they jointly founded the Guangxi Automobile Equipment Digital and Intelligent Manufacturing Industry-Education Integration Consortium, which was accredited as an industry-education integration consortium at the autonomous region level. LZPU provides approximately 200 interns annually to Guangxi Automobile Group, having cumulatively contributed nearly 3,000 graduates, among which 37 have advanced to the roles of technicians, senior technicians, or master technicians. Additionally, we have trained more than 1,000 new professional and technical talents and collaborated on more than 20 scientific research projects, ensuring stable and sustainable skilled talent support for the development of Guangxi Automobile Group. In 2024, subsequent to LZPU transitioning into a public undergraduate-level vocational university, the two parties enhanced the development of the R&D and Trial Production Center alongside the Guangxi New Energy Vehicle Chassis Engineering Research Center, collaboratively addressing technical challenges encountered in vehicle and component R&D testing and production trials.

This signing represents a significant milestone in the enhanced cooperation and collaborative innovation between our university and Guangxi Automobile Group. It symbolizes an innovative practice where local enterprises and universities join forces to promote high-quality development guided by excellence in Party building, serving the sustainable growth of the local economy and society. This collaboration evolves from industry-education integration as "business synergy" to "strategic symbiosis" driven by Party building. In the future, both parties will consider the comprehensive promotion of a strong nation's construction and the great task of national rejuvenation as their missions. They will adhere to principles of diligence and innovation, assess performance based on results, and allow public appraisal. Keeping in mind the CPC Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's deployment—strive to enhance the quality and efficiency of industries like automobile manufacturing and strive to construct a robust manufacturing city—they will align with the new requirements of the "Double High-Level Plan" for vocational education under the guidance of Party building and the general goals for achieving exemplary Party building in state-owned enterprises under new conditions. Together, they aim to create an influential Party building brand, "Joint Construction and Leadership Enhancement of Party Building."
